True Poker (www.truepoker.com) could be a great poker site. It has a few things going for it that give it the potential to go very far. Unfortunately, potential doesn’t get anyone very far on it’s own, and True Poker also has some stifling problems that if left unresolved could spell doom for the online poker room. Whether this site is for you depends on a few important factors.
First off, how are important are graphics? If they are very important, definitely check out True Poker. The graphics are the stand-out aspect of this site. It’s honestly like playing a Super Nintendo game. The characters say things, and in this respect the game is very fun. Unfortunately, the designers took so much time with the table play that they seemed to completely neglect the lobby area, which is simplistic from a graphical standpoint, and difficult to navigate. The two areas are a stark contrast to one another.
The other factor that is going to go into your enjoyment of True Poker is how much money you like to bet. If you’re into big games, you don’t’ want to be at True Poker. This site is aimed at lower-limit tables, and isn’t really the best place to come with a lot of money. The games, while visually appealing, often seem to drag out and using a lot of money is going to take a long time on True Poker. Basically, it’s what you like. If you like graphics and want to play for little stakes, this is your place to be. If you’re more interested in making some money quickly, go somewhere else. It’s as simple as that.
