WSOP Poker Player Is a Con Artist
23rd 2006f September 2006
The question is, if you are good at poker, better than 99% of the masses, are you a born con artist? Or is it vice versa. That question could be put to Randy Zandstra who has a warrant out for his arrest in New York. A federal judge issued the warrant for Zandstra's arrest when Zandstra disappeared after failing to show up to meet with his parole officer. Zandstra has a history as a con artist, managing to con hundreds of thousands of dollars from unassuming victims. He posed as an investment manager and lured his markers into his web of deceit after which he deftly parted them of their funds.
Authorities believe that Zandstra will either remain in New York or make his way to Atlantic City where there are numerous high-stakes poker games.
