WSOP Fights for WSOP Trademark

The world's oldest and most respected poker tournament, the World Series of Poker, has a history that stretches back nearly four decades. During that time the ownership of the WSOP has changed hands from the Binion family to the world's largest casino operator, Harrah's Entertainment. One thing that did not change ownership, however, is the web address www.wsop.com. The address is owned by Federico Schiavio, who worked for the Bininon family, and claims that Becky Binion Behnen gave him the rights to the url. He is fighting Harrah's for control of the url, which he uses for his World's Standard of Online Poker site.
