A new competitor has just appeared in the field of online poker. They hope to be the first U.S. company (West Hollywood, California) to profit from the poker trend.
The new site WPTonline.com will belongs to WPT Enterprises Inc. (the one that owns the WPT). The site offers real-money poker and casino games. But what about law? They found a way – they’re going to allow their services only for those who’re from USA or other countries where gambling is prohibited.
The vice president of marketing for WPTonline.com commented: "We're not location-based, we're television-based. The hope is that you're watching the show and you want to be a part of it. You want to learn poker. This can be your launching pad to do it."
