World Poker Tour Brands a Room at Foxwoods

If it seems like Steve Lipscomb of the World Poker Tour has his fingers in many pies, it's because he does. In one pie his finger stirs around the number of brands in other countries, like the Philippines and in Europe, and of course there a few digits busy with the tour itself, the show on the Travel channel, and the new online poker room. Now he has a finger or two in the Foxwoods casino, where a new room will be opened up branded with the World Poker Tour name.
The Foxwoods Resort and Casino, close by Hartford, CT, has entered into a recent agreement between the casino and the WPT that will end with a newly renovated room at Foxwoods that will bear the World Poker Tour name; this puts Foxwoods in pole position as the first of the WPT Charter Member Casinos.
