Two Final Tables for John Hoang at the World Series of Poker
23rd of July 2006
When the World Series of Poker was first created back in 1970, all of the participants could not have filled out the poker room at Binion's Horseshoe, the establishment owned by the World Series of Poker's creator, Benny Binion. This year, with pre registration numbers pointing at a possible 8,000 participants in the Main Event, just making it to the final table in any single event is a huge accomplishment. For professional poker player John Hoang, this year has been determined to success -- he has already made two final tables. At Event 7 Seven-Card Stud he took second place and in Even 14 he took fifth. Regardless of how he performs intervening weeks to come he has already been noticed as a Poker superstar.
