The Poker Face of Wall Street

When Morgan Stanley executive and poker extrovert Aaron Brown put statements in his new book about gambling and careers and finance being cut from the same cloth, one has to wonder if he intended to create the kind of potential outrage his book The Poker Face of Wall Street could produce. In the book, especially in chapters with titles such as "Pokernomics," Brown drew parallels between gambling game such as poker and high finance such as working the stock market. According to the author one cannot understand high finance unless one understands gambling games, and in the same vein one can't succeed in gambling games unless they look at them as high finance.
Brown sought inspiration from two different books on economics, one of which was, naturally, written by a gambler.
