Many poker players are also big fans of sports, especially if they have any money riding on a game. To cater to poker playing sports fans, many casinos and poker rooms have large TVs installed tuned to the latest games, and one online poker room has followed suit, after a fashion. At ScorePoker.com a new tool has been added to allow the sports fan to keep up with the score while they are trying to keep from losing chips at the table.
The Score's Sports Ticker is the tool, a scrolling application that offers up the latest sports news at a glance, keeping poker and footie at peace with one another. While technology may not increase to the point that the poker room also offers snacks and liquid refreshment, this is a nice move in the right direction for Score Poker.
