The New Playboy Poker Camp
11th 2006f August 2006
Playboy has gotten their fingers in the Poker pie in a number of directions recently, partnering with the 2003 World Series of Poker Main Event Champion Chris Moneymaker and his Moneymaker Gaming company to provide Playboy branded poker chips and tables, among other things. Their latest venture into the Poker arena is the Playboy Poker Camp, which launched last week and offered poker instruction by world-class instructors. World Series of Poker champion Layne Flak as well as Jim "Krazy Kanuck" Worth are two of the instructors. The first camp will be held in January of 2007 near Palm Springs, California. For the nearly $5,000 price tag, the 4 day/4 night event boasts nightly poker tournaments with prizes of more than $100,000, poker instruction, and poker parties with participation of Playboy Playmates, including a finale at the Playboy mansion.
