Sports Production Company to Produce Five New Poker Shows

A company that is more used to producing shows dealing with horse and auto racing has recently garnered a multimillion dollar deal that will have them producing 85 hours worth of poker television for viewing in the United Kingdom and internationally. UK-based company Sunset + Vine will produce five shows for the Challenge channel. The shows, which will also air on entertainment channel Player and be distributed internationally, will focus mostly on poker.
Two shows come from Pokerstars.com events including the European Poker Tour and the World Cup of Poker 2006. Another online offering comes from Interpoker.com in their University Poker Clash. The other two shows will be celebrity-based with Showbiz Poker and Showbiz Blackjack.
