Soon they will be coming to Europe, and Australia too. But for now, they are in America, roaming the fifty states in search of small towns in which to host poker tournaments, giving part of the proceeds to local charities of the towns choice. Why do they do this? To find the best amateur poker player in the United States. They are the Small Town Poker Tour, and if you attend the NATPE Convention January 24 at the Mandaly Bay Hotel in Las Vegas, you will get a sneak peek at the filmed version of the tour, The Poker Show.
Executive Producer Mark Fracalossi is thrilled about the response the Small Town Poker Tour has gotten, and the good it could do. He wants it to be known as the best traveling fund raiser in the world, and he is getting things started in the country that helped propel poker to its current level of popularity, the USA.
