Small Town Poker Tour Headed For Europe
01st of December 2005
It looks like the Small Town Poker Tour will be launching its European version earlier than expected, based on the fact that it’s US tour has been such a success for its owners.
The Executive Producer of the STPT, Mark Fracalossi, is thrilled about the pace of events.
"We have been visiting possible sites the last few months. There are so many unique sites in Europe we can't wait to put this on film," Fracalossi said. "We are looking for unique small towns and local charities to play for. We urge all people to email us with their ideas," Fracalossi added.
The upcoming USA Tour as received such positive advanced press that it prompted promoters to push forward the date for the European version of the Small Town Poker Tour Championships. It will use the same format as the US Tour, which is to raise money for charity while they play and crown one champion as the best player around. They are working on a number of European sponsors and a television deal, and will provide the details as they get them.
