Sixty Billion Gambled On Poker Sites In 2005

Poker continues to be big business, and one company is offering a report that could be valuable to those seeking poker profits in 2006. Research and Markets, a company that has provided research and marketing data to businesses such as Eli Lilly and Coca-Cola, have put out a new report, titled “Online Poker - Driving Gambling To New Heights” for Euro 341.
Research and Markets did release a few samples of the data their report contains. For example one item states that the amount estimated to have been spent and gambled around the world on poker websites in 2005 is $60 billion, and more than 60 percent of industry experts believe that online poker will be the dominant market for online gambling in two or three years.
