Poker Sponsorship for Tim McGraw

The Tug McGraw Foundation has recently found a sponsor in Motorola for their annual event held in Philadelphia at the Crystal Tea Room on November 3. The foundation will be putting on "An Evening with Tim McGraw and Friends: Honoring Those Who Make a Difference". This event will focus on honoring Chicago White Sox First Baseman Jim Thorne as well as others, and participants in the gala will be able to play in a poker tournament with sports and Hollywood celebrities. The winner of Donald Trump's "The Apprentice," Kelly Perdew, will be playing as will Steve Carlton and Jim McMahon. The Master of Ceremonies will be legendary sports broadcaster Bob Costas, who has shown contempt whenever poker is referenced as a sport.
