Poker Software Lets You Run Online Events
03rd 2006f March 2006
Edmonton, Canada based poker software company Poker Academy, has announced a new, updated version of their popular poker playing software, Pro Texas Hold'em , that has a few new tricks up its virtual sleeve. While there are nearly as many Texas Hold'em software programs as there are playing cards in a deck, many have the same basic function or purpose, to either entertain as in the case of many console games for the Xbox 360 or the PSP, or to educate, as many titles for the PC do. This new Poker Academy offering does all that, but also lets the operator host online tournaments.
Pro Texas Hold'em, version 2.5, offers a unique chance when it allows players to create multi-table tournaments. They can now analyze the way they play and become a better tournament poker player; the software even lets you import hand histories from poker rooms such as Party Poker and Poker Stars.
