Poker Pro Gives Back to Home Country

After poker winnings 38-year-old Anand Ramdin, a real estate operator in the United States left Guyana, he did not forget where he was from. Ramdin kept an eye on the Guyanese and always look for ways to help his countrymen. Now that he is a millionaire, thanks to a winnings at poker tournaments, he has found a way to give back. After winning $1.8 million in Las Vegas and on a poker cruise, Ramdin donated $100,000 to Guyana's First Lady Varshnie Jagdeo. Jagdeo runs a charity called the Heart to Heart Campaign, which assists Guyanese with heart problems in getting treatment. The donation made by Ramdin will aid for adults and 13 children, who will travel to India in order to receive help.
