The World Series of Poker has been around for more than 30 years; any institution around that long leaves behind quite a paper trail, and if you're interested in reviewing it you can find it all in one place. The University of Nevada, Las Vegas, received a donation from Jack Binion that covers nine linear feet and is stuffed full of event programs, videotapes, photographs, press releases and advertising budgets and much, much more.
The collection ranges from the inception of the World Series of Poker in 1970 all the way through Greg Raymer's win in 2004. Some of the material may only be of interest to true poker fanatics, such as business correspondence and day-to-day event listings, others may be interested in a storable accuracy such as lists of who won what event.
