Poker H.O.R.S.E. Costs Fifty Grand
16th 2006f January 2006
This isn’t the kind of horse you ride, but poker players the world over are thrilled to see it listed as an event in the 2006 World Series of Poker nonetheless. For years many vocal critics have been concerned that the WSOP’s choice of championship events, namely No Limit Texas Hold’em, gave a skewed representation of who was the best poker player in the world. Only one event, the championship left out Omaha, Razz and the rest. Now that H.O.R.S.E. has been added to the lists it should quiet the critics and make them happy.
With a fifty grand buy in it will take someone very serious about their chances to participate, and good enough to win events not only in Hold’em and Omaha, but in Razz and two version of Seven Card Stud.
