Poker Dome Arrives May 28
04th of June 2006
Mansion Poker is betting that you will like their new TV show. By isolating professional poker players in a mirrored room, the officials at the Poker Dome Challenge hope to place some serious pressure on them, making them sweat. To keep the anxiety going a shot clock will be applied, ensuring there will be plenty of fast action. There will be a studio audience sitting behind the one-way glass who will be able to see and hear the players. The players, however, will be in a soundproof environment. No Limit Texas Hold 'em is already known as the most dramatic form of Poker and this could push it over the edge.
Poker Dome Challenge began Sunday, May 28, and Fox Sports Network will be broadcasting show weekly with six qualifiers. The action will continue until the final round with a $1 million prize.
