Poker Alive and Well in Hollywood

The rumors of poker's oncoming demise may be greatly exaggerated, if the movers and shakers in Hollywood have anything to say about it. There are more and more news from the movie capital of the world about pro poker and associated games. Two movies are in the works now and two more have recently been announced.
One is based on the MIT blackjack team that managed an incredible 40% edge over the casinos in Las Vegas, and will be named 21, based on the book Bringing Down the House. The other poker movie is a decidedly new twist, being written as a family comedy where the family is forced to travel to Las Vegas to win back a life savings by playing No Limit Texas Hold 'Em.
