Phil Hellmuth Narrowly Misses Record-Setting 11th WSOP Bracelet

It was to be third place for Phil "The Poker Brat" Hellmuth in Event 45, officially the last event of the 37th annual World Series of Poker. This year Hellmuth finally completed his quest for a record-tying 10th World Series of Poker bracelet. Event 45 was the last chance he had to set a new record with 11, but he didn't quite make it. While he did take home around $50,000 for his victory, Phil is known as a man who won't rest until he gets what he wants. He did set other records this year, including some 57 lifetime finishes in the money at the World Series of Poker.
