PartyGaming Gets New CEO
30th 2006f March 2006
It is always nice to be wanted, and Mitch Garber was a wanted man. A CEO of an Internet company, Mitch knew how the Internet worked when it came to business and financial transactions, two things that an online poker room is very concerned about. When Party Gaming, one of the larger online poker rooms, found out they were loosing their CEO on May 4th due to Richard Segal's unwillingness to move to Gibraltar, where the company is located, they went on the hunt for another Chief Executive Officer.
Enter Mike Garber, the former CEO of FireOne, an online payment firm of the Pay Pal and Neteller varieties. As many online poker rooms work with online payment firms to keep the money flowing back and forth, this is a logical move.
