Park City Welcomes Amateur Poker

Park City, Kansas has aspirations to become the casino capital of the world. This is according to Park City mayor Mary D. Stewart, who said that she is "real tickled" that the Annual Park City Poker Round Up has returned to Park City for a second year. It will be held in the last two weekends in June, the start of big plans for amateur Poker in Park City, according to the Round Up organizer Bob Knight.
The finals of the second Annual Park City Poker Round Up will be televised and broadcast by Channel 5, KCPU. Proceeds from the event will go to support charity with the benefactor being the Cerebral Palsy Research Foundation of Kansas.
