Online Poker Trojans Cause Worry

One of the most important things to an online poker player is security. Online poker rooms work very hard to ensure that all transactions that take place when it comes to depositing and withdrawing money are highly secure. If this were not the case, they wouldn't have any customers. Some inventive thieves, however, found a way to manipulate the system in order to drain some poker players accounts.
According to some reports the poker thieves attached their Trojan horse virus on to the downloads of a particular pokerroom. Once the virus was on the target's computer, it would grant backdoor access to that person's passcode information to other poker rooms. The thieves would log on using the stolen information and their own information and play against themselves, causing losses that would drain the victim's accounts and bulk up the thieves'.
