New Zealand Poker Champs Welcome Joe Hachem

Name one sport where a fan of the pros in the game can compete against their idols as easily as in the world of poker; it can't be done. Only in poker, especially the eternally hot No Limit Texas Hold'em, can any average Joe plunk down an entry fee and buy in and wind up sitting next to a Champion Joe; namely Joe Hachem, the 2005 World Series of Poker main event champion, and poker hero of Australia.
Along with fellow professional poker player Lee Nelson, Joe has confirmed that he will be in attendance at the New Zealand Poker Championships, where the winner will be taking home NZ$60,000.
Joe, who one the equivalent of $10 million Australian dollars, was allowed to avoid paying taxes because he won the money while playing his "hobby."
