Need for Speed Applies to Poker
26th 2006f June 2006
Poker players, at one level or another, are addicted to action. Of course, addicted might be too strong a word, but the action they get while they play is without a doubt exciting, and some players list this as one of the top reasons why they play. Action is when you are contested to win hands, and there is a chance you could lose - in another of America's favorite pastimes, NASCAR, the drivers know all about action. Some, like Toney Stewart, seek action in both arenas.
Stewart, after answering questions about his 2005 Pepsi 400 at the Daytona International Speedway, joined in a game with Speedway President Robin Braig, NASCAR Vice President of Corporate Communications Jim Hunter, and pro poker player Corey Biera.
