Gold's Goldmine Shared in WSOP Prize Settlement
13th 2007f February 2007
When Jamie Gold won his $12 million from dominating the 2006 World Series of Poker main event, he knew he was going to have to pay some of it out to associate Bruce Crispin Leyser, but he might not have had half as the amount in mind. When Leyser got a judge to lock up $6 million until the matter could be settled, Gold and Leyser went to war. The war is now over, as the Gold camp has made an undisclosed settlement in the matter, putting the ghost to rest from last year's event.
