Excapsa Online Poker Dispute Resolved
28th 2006f February 2006
When your company sees a successful float on the London Stock exchange, happily launching an IPO and opening up your company to the public, one of the last things you want to deal with is a messy bit of litigation. Online poker software company Excapsa, having just gone through the IPO, made amends with an ongoing dispute with online poker room Pokershare. In a confidential agreement any differences between the poker room and the software company were settled. The initial problems arose when Excapsa excluded Pokershare’s online poker room from its poker playing network. In November of last year Pokershare decided legal action was needed.
Now that the dispute has been settled the CEO of Pokershare, Lucan Toh, made an interesting statement. Not only was he at peace with Excapsa, but his company actually invested in them as well.
