In recent years TV has done wonders for the poker world, putting the game that much closer to the average viewer, introducing a whole world to No Limit Texas Hold 'em and fun poker lingo such as "flop", "wired pair", and "the nuts." It has also given rise to the poker celebrity, the fresh faced, sharp dressed individual who looks great while checking and raising their way to fame and fortune. One such player is former beauty queen Clonie Gowen, a poker pro and member of Team Full Tilt, who will soon be blending poker and beauty once again with a spot in an upcoming issue of Maxim Magazine. The highly anticipated July issue of Maxim will include Gowen as part of a World Series of Poker Insert.
