Celebrity Poker Showdown Says Goodbye to Gordon
23rd 2006f March 2006
Considering the history of one of the tallest of the poker greats, his break with Bravo Network's hit poker show, Celebrity Poker Showdown, comes as no surprise. That's right, "tallest", as Phil Gordon comes in at around six feet eight inches tall, but he is one of the biggest professional poker players as well, earning over a million dollars in tournament winnings, no small feat. This dot com millionaire also donned a backpack and traveled the country for a few years before taking on the challenge of becoming a professional poker player, which eventually led to his gig at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas.
Gordon co hosted 42 episodes of the hit Bravo show, along with funnyman Dave Foley, who joined the Celebrity Poker Showdown crew in its second season.
