Canadian Whiskey Seeking Poker Pro Support
08th 2006f April 2006
Recently the winner of the 2003 World Series of poker Chris moneymaker signed an endorsement deal with Canadian whiskey company Canadian club whiskey and was involved in an advertisement that reportedly involves miners. The whiskey company has come under fire for this, yet it did not stop another whiskey company based in the north from seeking the endorsement of a professional poker player.
Gavin Smith, a Canadian pro poker player, signed with Black Velvet Canadian Whiskey. For the lucky winner of a contest sponsored by Black Velvet Canadian Whiskey, there will be an all expense paid trip to Las Vegas in order to face Gavin and a heads up poker showdown. Both the endorsement deal and the contest and following poker game are good signs that the poker industry is still going strong.
