Borgata Summer Poker Open Struggles On
23rd of July 2006
With all the Poker attention being in Las Vegas this summer, during the world-famous World Series of Poker, poker players in Atlantic City who were not able to make the trip to the desert were looking forward to participating in the Borgata Summer Poker Open, an east coast poker tournament favorite. When the New Jersey Governor shut down all 12 casinos in Atlantic City, on the very day that the tournament was to begin, it was cause for a great deal of worry.
Now that the casinos have been reopened, the Borgata Summer Poker Open has resumed with only three of events being canceled. Players will be able to strive for big cash prizes and big recognition until the series ends on July 20.
