Biggest Poker Prize Still Disputed
25th 2006f December 2006
When former Hollywood agent Jamie Gold won $12 Million at the 37th annual World Series of Poker, it seemed like the perfect ending to any movie, but the story goes on from there. His reputed business partner in a WSOP venture, British television producer Crispin Leyser, claims he is being shafted and that Gold owes him half his winnings. After Gold filed a claim that he was going to gift some money to Leyser - which means he is not obligated to do so - Leyser responded in kind. Filing his second petition, Leyser claims emphatically that it was a business relationship, and thus the moneys are owed to him in form of payment.
