Big Shots To Star In High Stakes Poker Show

How would you like to watch a show with the following line up: Daniel Negreanu, Jennifer Harman, Ted Forrest, Bob Stupak? What if Doyle Brunson, Johnny Chan, Barry Greenstein, and Phil Hellmuth were also going to show? The upcoming GSN show promises to be a hit with that kind of poker star power behind it; and to top it all off, each star is buying in with their own cash. While most average poker players would balk at the big buy-ins of events like the World Series of Poker Championship, which runs around $10,000, these pros are laying down the big bucks; $100,000.
First airing on GSN Monday, January 16th at 9 pm Eastern Time, the show is well named; High Stakes Poker. Unlike tournament play, where chips are just a way of keeping score, in High Stakes Poker every chip will equal real dollars. When Chan comes over the top for $20,000, it will really and truly be $20,000 of his own money on the line.
