Anticipation Builds for WSOP H.O.R.S.E.
22nd 2006f July 2006
As the World Series of Poker wrapped up week number two at the Rio All Suite Hotel Casino anticipation continued to build regarding this year's most pricey event, a $50,000 buy in tournament called H.O.R.S.E. Normally the most expensive game in town during the World Series of Poker is the Main Event, which costs players $10,000 to play. So far this season there have been two $5,000 events, and there will be a few more, and even a $10,000 Pot Limit Omaha. But the biggest of them all is the H.O.R.S.E. event, which required players to be experts in six different games of poker. There was speculation over who will win the event, an accomplishment some feel better gauges the best poker player than simply a No Limit Hold 'em game. The first ever WSOP H.O.R.S.E. bracelet along with $1,784,640 went to Chip Reese.
