Another Poker Pro Gets His Own Tournament Series

One of the flashier poker pros that have come down the pike is Scotty Nguyen, who was the 1998 Main Event World Series of Poker champion. Now he has his own professional level poker tournament series, Scotty Nguyen Poker Challenge. The challenge takes place at the Cherokee Casino in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where players can buy into the events for as little as $100 and as much as $5,000. Participating in the event will be a number of professional players such as Michael Mizrachi, Mike Matusow and Mike Sexton, one of the co-hosts of the World Poker Tour.
Those players anticipating the Main Event, a $5,000 buy in and No Limit Texas Hold 'em game, Scotty Nguyen will be on hand for exclusive party on June 17.
