All In Hold’em Approved By NGC
30th 2005f November 2005
The Nevada Gaming Commission recently approved a new Texas Hold’em variant that has been successfully tested recently at the Bellagio. The new game table is now available for use in every casino in the state of Nevada, and will be introduced at the Mirage and the TI-Treasure Island in December, and goes by the name “All In Hold’em.”
Two pocket cards are dealt to each player and there are a total of five community cards dealt. The game has some elements similar to Black Jack, as each player at the table compares hands only against the dealer. The dealer can fold, or call based on a set of rules, and each player has to pay the blind ante, and has options of raising a set amount or going “all in” a set amount. There is side action as well, with deals like pocket aces paying 20-1, and a Royal Flush pays 500-1.
