A New Face for the World Poker Tour

When Steve Lipscomb first created the World Poker Tour, he knew he was taking a chance. The World Series of Poker was the dominating poker tour of the day and it would take some doing to grab a significant part of the market share. For three years he managed to do just that, with commentators Mike Sexton and Vince Van Patten captaining the ship, and former Playboy model Shana Hiatt performing her role as hostess. Going in the season Four for reasons undisclosed Hiatt was removed as hostess and replaced with the Southern California news woman Courtney Friel. With season Four up and season Five already underway the World Poker Tour has, with no fanfare at all, replaced Friel with up-and-coming model Sabena Gadecki.
